Answer for changing localstream name

Hi, We’ll look into your suggestion of making the stream alias optionally permanent. This can probably be added in a future release depending on task priorities currently in our pipeline. In the meantime, there’s a quick workaround you can try. Let’s say your Streamer pushes a stream called "MyStreamName" to EMS. At the EMS, you can send the command below to rename your stream to "MyStreamName_1": 
pullstream uri=rtmp://127.0.0.1/live/MyStreamName localstreamname=MyStreamName_1
Your clients can then play "MyStreamName_1" from EMS. It is not the most efficient solution, but it may be good enough for your needs. Cheers, Don
