Thank you for the detailed post, you have a very interesting use case. Let me pre-empt your questions a bit by saying the following:
1) pullStream should definitely work while ingest points are active. It is not common to do both, but they should "play well" together.
2) All events should be triggered, regardless of ingest points or aliasing being enabled.
I will have the team look into both issues immediately and work on fixes if we are able to replicate it in the current release candidate.
May i ask what version of the EvoStream Media Server you are currently using?
