One possible solution is to use createHlsStream with "localStreamNames=x1,x2,x3,x4,x5,x6,x7 cleanupDestination=1 playlistType=appending" parameters, in addition to other parameters as required.
– Replace "x1" to "x7" with the actual stream names
– "cleanupDestination=1" ensures that old files are removed from the target folder/group before new files get written
– "playlistType=appending" prevents rollover (earlier files don’t get erased when staleRetentionCount is exceeded)
For live streaming, all input streams should start at the same time to keep the output HLS files synchronized.
For streaming from recorded files, there should be no problem even if the input streams arrive at different times.
