So would subscribing to this event be a recommended approach for trying to keep a count of active viewers?
We need an active viewers count of our live streams and I haven’t found a recommended solution. Our live streams are broadcast over RTMP as well as HLS, so I need to find a count of both active RTMP viewers as well as HTTP sessions.
Is there an easy API call for finding this information, or should I keep track by using the streamingSession and outStream events?
