Answer for Still Stuck on Consuming Event Notifications

Thanks for the replies, Don and Toni. Don, yes, I had already configured the eventLogger block to get the events I want to capture. In the log files, it shows that it’s connecting to my URL ok, but I’m just not receiving the data. After I posted this question, I finally figured out how to at least solve part of the problem. I can get my web service to accept any call, no matter what URL is used (if you recall that was part of my question initially). IOW, as long as the IP and Port are correct, it will accept the rest of the call. I’ve tried this with a test app and it works fine (although, that test app is also in .NET). However, it’s still not receiving anything from EMS … or at least I’m not seeing it. Maybe I need to use something to look at the network traffic. Is Fiddler good for that? I’ve also heard of something called WireShark, I think it is. Any suggestions as to how to see what/if EMS is actually sending over the wire? Is an RPC call something that needs to be configured/allowed through a Firewall? (I didn’t think of that one until just now … I’ll have to give it a look tomorrow). ~~Bonnie
