Cannot call simple HTTP Request from SoapUI to EMS

Hi,
I am trying send HTTP request from SoapUI to the EMS server. However, I am unable to send request. My URI is http://XXXXX:7777/version where XXXX is the IP address of EMS media server. I am new to this forum and tried to find the answer in your user guide.
