Issues with creating DASH Stream segments from a vod pullstream

Howdy,   i do following steps via the EMS Web UI: A) 

1. add a pullstream from a local .mp4 video located in my /var/evostream/media folder:
   Checking in EWS Web UI the stream is listed.
   
   
2. Adding a DASH stream from this created pullstream:
   Checking in EWS Web UI both streams are listed.
   
   
3. When i now check the /var/evo-webroot/dash/customer1/…./video/0 folder there the segments are growing constantly.
   As i understand the param chunkLength, i set with that param the length of the segments in seconds. So with a video
   roughly 2.25 minutes long there should be 14 segments created. Am i right?
   But i am feeling the dash stream creates a looping video from the pullstream

  When i do the same steps in the telnet console via pullStream and createDashStream commands i get the same results. How do i generate a dash stream as long as the original video…   When i do not stop the EMS, EMS would flood my harddisk with these segments.
