Lazy-pulling RTSP/RTMP and requesting other protocol?
First i explain, what we need:
We have a WISI Tangram-Unit. See http://www.wisi.de/en/business/products/tangram/
This unit is delivering a multicast-stream per channel.
We want to offer our clients (we build own broadband-networks based on DS- und FTTH) IP-TV.
Our idea was the following:
Out setup is like this, that we want to transport the multicast to a server with two network-cards and which runs EVO Stream.
The clients (settop-boxes) should connect to EVO-Stream-Server via unicast. In fact we need in production more EVO-Stream-Servers in our network near to the clients. So in the backbone we transport multicast and on the „last point before access-concentrator“ we want to install EVO-Stream-Server.
Is this possible?
If yes, we have the following setup: We receive via WISI-Tangram ~40 DVB-T2-Streams. It is coded with H.265 (HEVC-Codec), ~4 MBit per HDTV-stream. EVO-Stream-Server should only transparent route this video ot he clients (distribute multicast to multiple session-based unicast-streams).
