Linux operation

Linux operation

I am having some trouble installing the Linux version. I am using a Linux (CentOS) VM on Azure. Yes we understand that there is a program to have it all set up, but this is in a partnership with Microsoft paying for the Azure Credits and the setup you have will charge our client not MS. I am not very experienced with Linux and was following the instructions here. When I got to installing the license ( which I have not requested for a Linux box) I cannot find a folder named /evostream under /etc. Is this the root level /etc or am I expected to create one under my user? Am I also expected to create the /evostream folder or should have the install process created that for me, and this means that the installation was not completed correctly?

Hi techq! Can you clarify on your environment? So you are running a CentOS VM on Azure and install EMS in that VM? Is that right? If yes, what did you use to install EMS? Is it the yum install or a tarball? If no, are you running EMS on Azure Marketplace? If this is the case, you should see /etc/evostreamms folder in the VM.    Thank you!
