listStreams returning inactive streams

Hey,
Looking to listStreams API call I noticed that it returns a lot of inactive streams (the ones that was active at some time ago). At the documentation it says it only brings the active ones.
Need I look at bytesCount or something to distinguish streams that are flowing video or do you have a better approach?
