Rackspace Ad Integration

I was able to use the information provided to put together a solution that works much better than my previous methods. I am currently working through some issues with Rackspace caching the master playlist but that is a problem unrelated to Evostream. I am happy with my current implementation of the Evostream Media Server but I am interested if there are any methods I can use to integrate advertisements into live streams. As I understand, you typically use playlists to switch from a live stream to a VOD or another stream. I’m not sure if there is a way to pull a stream from Rackspace as there are no rtmp, rtsp or mpeg-ts links to insert into the playlist. Any information regarding this process would be much appreciated.
