Rtsp camera behind NAT router

Hi Guys, Is there a guide on how to pull stream from a h264 ip camera behind NAT router through rtsp. It works find on local network, but does not work from outside with a single port forwarded to the private ip (for example 554 tcp and udp) even though the original handshake seems to be fine. Thank you.
