Update Problem – Need Help – Urgent

Hello, I tried updating to the latest version by deleting the whatever I could find related to the old installation under user, var, and etc, and then running the linux CentOS script through ssh. I received the message that "Package evostream-mediaserver-1.6.6.3511-1.e16.x86_64 already installed and latest version. Nothing to do." However, none of the Evostreamms directories/files were recreated, and now, attempts to start EMS failled. I suspect there is a hidden file or command that is blocking the installation I need detailed instructions ASAP to completely remove all traces of Evostream so I can do a clean install. I have limited experience with ssh command line and ask the instructions are written with that in mind. If it is preferred to do installations using the tar.gz – particularly for future upgrading or moving the installation, please advise and provide those instructions as well Your help is greatly appreciated
