v1.7 EMS_Web_UI digest auth not working

v1.7 EMS_Web_UI seems to have a problem with implementing HTTP digest authentication. Are there any known problems with this feature? Turning off authentication works fine, but we are unable to get digest auth working with the EMS web server.

hi! are you using EMS version 1.7.1? did you enable the
auth section in the webconfig.lua seen here -> http://docs.evostream.com/ems_web_ui_user_guide/authentication
