I can't get eovstreamms to run. Please see log from console below. Although the documentation tells me to put the License.lic file into /etc/evostream, I also tried it in /etc/evostreamms but no luck.

Hi Erika The VM is OpenVZ which is probably not good news. Google tells me that the hosting service provider would be able to set up a MAC address but it doesn’t seem like I can set up one from within the VM. I’ve emailed the hosting provider to set up a MAC address for me but, as the company (iiNet) was taken over by another company (TPG) two years ago, and is still in an absolute mess as far as the treatment of its customers and own staff are concerned, I don’t expect to get much help from them. I’m therefore going to change to another hosting service. This changeover could take me a week or so to finish. Would it be possible to defer my EvoStream trial for a week? (Actually, because I haven’t started using it I guess my trial hasn’t really started. Might that be correct?) Much appreciated. Kind regards

Hi Erika I’ve set up another hosting site and installed EvoStream. It’s got a mac address and the licence is picked up properly. I can “sudo service evostreamms start” and then “sudo service evostreamms status” comes back ok and there are three evo-node processes then running and one evostreamms process. So that’s all looking good! Thanks very much for your help! Kind regards
